Set an adjustable bench to a 30-45 degree incline. Sit on the bench with a dumbbell in each hand, resting them on your thighs. Lie back on the bench and bring the dumbbells up over your chest with palms facing each other. Press the dumbbells up to the starting position, arms extended but not locked. Maintain a slight bend in your elbows throughout the exercise. Lower the dumbbells in a wide arc motion until you feel a stretch across your chest. Keep the movement under control and avoid dropping too far below chest level. Using your chest muscles, bring the dumbbells back up in the same arc motion. Squeeze your chest at the top of the movement, but don't allow the dumbbells to touch.
We love these adjustable dumbbells from Rep Fitness. They take up very little space and are also very durable compared to other adjustable dumbbells on the market.
